What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words Black Sabbath?… for us it’s Ozzy Osbourne.
The front man who has an undeniable presence, a unique and distinct voice and vocal style. With their incredible displays of musicianship, dark and alluring Melodie’s and lyrics, there is no denying that Black Sabbath was the band that pioneered the heavy metal music genre. With Ozzy up front Black Sabbath inspired so many great artists and musicians. In his solo career Ozzy continued to pave the way. With incredible musical production, deep and sometimes somber lyrics, he gave his fans songs that you can bang your head, and sing along to. 50+ years since Ozzy sang his first note, and he’s still creating killer tracks for us all to enjoy.
This is the reason “Madwoman” was formed. To pay homage to a man who helped define a genre. Who’s music and performances influenced us all on our own musical journeys.
Each member of “Madwoman” has a respect and admiration for the material we cover. Being female fronted may have people scratching their heads, but we strive to deliver a unique and creative tribute experience without compromising the integrity of the original material.
We diligently work to bring the best of Ozzy era Sabbath and Ozzy’s solo career to our audience. “Madwoman” has only one goal, and that is to successfully perform the music we love for people who love it too.
